The Campus Relations Committee has been very busy thus far this semester. Helping to promote the car share program, assigning tabling for our letter writing campaign to recent donors, emailing student boards to gather information regarding distribution requirements, and communicating with ChartWells in regards to their recent improvements in their food services has kept everyone on the committee very involved. We have also set long-term goals for the committee such as brainstorming ways to promote involvement in WCSA and the organization itself.
On January 25, the Executive Committee of WCSA attended the Change of Administration Dinner. The theme of the event was leadership. Rising leaders of the OWU community were invited to showcase and share the leadership experiences they have had and the opportunities they have been a part of at OWU. Martin Clark, former WCSA President reflected on the importance of being proactive in the community. Tim O'keeffe, former WCSA Vice President commented on what it means to be a Bishop and the path he took to become a leader in the community. Lauren Holler, President of WCSA spoke about the road ahead for the new administration and her hopes for the future of WCSA. The Wesleyan Council on Student Affairs would like to thank all those who attended and would like to thank Chartwells for the dinner. We would also like to thank members of the OWU administration for attending, including President Rock Jones, Dean of Students Goldsberry and Vice President of Financial Affairs Dan Hitchell.
