The Executive Committee attended the Board of Trustees Dinner this past Friday January 25th. The dinner's theme focused on sustainability with entrees that focused on local grown food. There was also a map displayed that showed different environmental initiatives happening across campus from recycling efforts to composting. Erika Kazi, sustainability intern and Class of 2014 Representative, spoke of the growing need to focus on green initiatives. She was followed by Carly Hallal, former WCSA Vice President, who reflected on her leadership growth while attending OWU. Anthony McGuire, former President of WCSA, reflected on his time in office and than passed the official WCSA gavel to the current WCSA President, Martin Clark, who spoke of the future endeavors of the current WCSA administration. The dinner was a great reflection on the past WCSA administration and provided a glimpse into the future of the new administration coming into office. We would like to thank Chartwells for providing a great dinner and also to the Board of Trustees for providing great conversations.
